The Luminix® Ford LED Emblem is where Ford heritage meets modern style. This officially licensed Ford product is designed as a direct replacement for the Ford F-150, Super Duty, Maverick, Ranger, Explorer, and Expedition models. Built with advanced automotive LED technology, each emblem delivers high-intensity illumination through official “Ford” script, complementing the vehicle’s factory lighting assemblies and providing a clearly legible logo, whether the product is “On” or “Off”. Putco manufactures LED emblems for both the grille and tailgate. Putco’s grille emblems provide SAE/DOT compliant illumination at a crisp 6,500K white color temperature. Tailgate emblems provide our signature MEGA-RED appearance designed to match factory tail lamps.

Each emblem is constructed of a black mini-textured ABS housing with a white Makrolon lens in the shape of the “Ford” logo. This lens completely diffuses each LED’s individual output providing clearly legible and seamless illumination. Additionally, this lens provides clear “Ford” branding when the product is turned off. The product is fully encapsulated and potted with a two-part epoxy to achieve an IP69K ingress protection rating – the highest achievable rating. This means that water or dust cannot enter the part and harm the electronics within. The black ABS provides a premium finish that is not only chip and impact resistant but also highly UV resilient, allowing the product to retain its finish over a long period of time and exposure.

Installation is straightforward as each emblem is designed as a direct replacement of the factory badge, utilizing the same mounting points. Putco also offers models equipped with a front camera and/or camera washer; simply relocate the system from the factory emblem to Putco’s. For models equipped with a front camera, an exposure-reducing shroud is molded in the camera cutout to ensure illumination from the emblem does not interfere with picture quality from the camera. For models equipped with a camera washer, the LED emblem comes with a replacement cover injection molded with the same material as the emblem’s housing to ensure a seamless factory-looking appearance.
