SPD PERFORMANCE GEN2 3" HX SERIES HELMHOLTZ RESONATED PRE AXLE DUMP FORD F150 17-20

Our HX Series Helmholtz resonated pre-axle dump is the last component to the ultimate Gen2 Raptor or HO Limited F-150 exhaust system. We designed this muffler for trucks with special rear suspensions that will not allow dual exhaust over the axle. When combined with our equal length trombone (RDFR20EL), there is no better sounding Gen2 Raptor exhaust! HX Series mufflers are a straight through design, with no reductions or chambers inside the muffler which guarantees ultimate flow and performance. HX Series mufflers use hard pack sound dampening material which will not break down. Other brands use loose pack dampening material ( glass or metal wool/fibers) which breaks down from the harsh exhaust vibrations. A x pipe was designed in to blend the exhaust tones after the equal length trombone. The main purpose of the Helmholtz resonator on this system is the in-cab noise/drone reduction w/out making the exhaust too quiet.
